LRTC – Light Rail Transit Consultants GmbH, founded in 1985, having its headquarters in Dusseldorf, is a long-term merger of consulting enterprises which have been active for many years in the field of local public transport (ÖPNV).

These enterprises are subsidiaries of renowned engineering companies in Germany. The shareholder structure is shown by the following diagram:

The object of the enterprise LRTC GmbH comprises consultancy, planning, construction supervision, assistance to the works manager, training of personnel, as well as all other works in the field of railborne local transport systems which are directly or indirectly connected therewith.

The purpose of this merger of enterprises is the concentration of the competences and the specific know-how of the individual enterprises and their resources for soliciting and carrying out ambitious planning and consultancy projects, focusing on the international market.

The services of LRTC are rendered by experienced experts of the company's shareholders, who, on the one hand, are familiar with the latest state of the art in the field of local public transport and who, on the other hand, are in direct contact with the daily operation as well as the maintenance and repair of the transport systems and the way in which they are operated by their parent companies. The personnel of these parent companies will support them with their experience, should this become necessary.

This wide basis of a pool of highly qualified experts has already proved most successful in numerous projects worldwide.

Rail&Bus Consultants GmbH is a German engineering and consulting company specializing on planning and consulting services in the field of urban and commuter rail- and street-bound public transport.

Together with our subsidiaries and within the BMC BLIC Holding corporate association, which brings together several transport engineering companies, we provide access to more than 100 specialists from various fields of expertise and bundle comprehensive know-how for the implementation of complex multidisciplinary development projects.

Spiekermann is one of the leading German consulting & engineering companies under the umbrella of NET Engineering International S.p.A..

The business activities comprise the fields of traffic & transport, environment, water, buildings and structural engineering. Since its establishment in 1968 Spiekermann stands for continuity with respect to the consulting of its clients and for competent, independent and individual planning, project management and project realisation.

Spiekermann disposes of a staff of about 250 experts. The scope of services of Spiekermann is focused on traffic planning (analysis, master plans, traffic network development for multimodal transport systems) and traffic infrastructure including associated operational equipment.
